大學英語快速閱讀新導學-第一冊 內容簡介
《大學英語快速閱讀新導學》共有四冊，每冊分為8個單元，每單元由4篇閱讀文章組成。文章主要選自當代*新的英文報紙和英文著作，題材廣泛，涵蓋文化、教育、歷史、地理、科技、經濟、友情、親情、校園生活等，并與學生的學習、生活密切相關，是大學生提高詞匯量、擴展知識面、培養英語學習興趣的好幫手。所有文章的內容思想健康，具有知識性、時代性和趣味性，既可提高學生的英語素養，又能增強學生的綜合運用能力。每篇閱讀文章配有針對性強、形式多樣的練習，設有選擇題、正誤判斷、翻譯和問答題等題型，以增進英語的習得。所有練習均給出了參考答案。
在培養閱讀能力的教學過程中，應在密切關注“快速閱讀”的基礎上，著重關注以下幾個方面：理解文章的主旨和要義，理解文章的具體信息，根據上下文推斷生詞的詞義，根據文章做出簡單的推斷和推理，理解文章的基本結構，理解作者的意圖、觀點和態度。另外必須注意的是：相應練習總是以文章為根據，這就是說，答案要在文章中找到根據。因此，我們不僅要求學生注意詞匯、語法和閱讀理解三大語言要素，掌握一定的語言背景知識，掌握閱讀技巧，并有一定的分析和理解能力，同時還希望在注重量的同時注重閱讀速度。
閱讀是一個循序漸進、厚積薄發的過程，所以這套叢書分為四冊，由淺入深，*后達到大學英語四級所要求的詞匯量、閱讀量和閱讀速度。
