趙秉志，新中國首屆刑法學(xué)博士（1988），美國杜克大學(xué)法學(xué)院訪問學(xué)者（1990-1991）。現(xiàn)任北京師范大學(xué)刑事法律科學(xué)研究院院長、教育部長江學(xué)者特聘教授、博士生導(dǎo)師，北京師范大學(xué)死刑研究國際中心主任、國際反腐敗教育與研究中心主任、反恐怖法治研究中心主任。兼任國際刑法學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)副主席暨中國分會(huì)主席，中國法學(xué)會(huì)常務(wù)理事暨學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)委員，中國刑法學(xué)研究會(huì)會(huì)長，國務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)學(xué)科評(píng)議組法學(xué)評(píng)議組成員，國家社科基金項(xiàng)目學(xué)科評(píng)審組專家，全國人大常委會(huì)法制工作委員會(huì)立法專家顧問，最高人民法院特邀咨詢員（2013-2014），最高人民檢察院專家咨詢委員會(huì)委員，公安部法律顧問，司法部社區(qū)矯正工作特邀專家，教育部法學(xué)學(xué)科教學(xué)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)副主任委員等。曾獲得國家"做出突出貢獻(xiàn)的博士學(xué)位獲得者"（1991）、中國法學(xué)會(huì)首屆"全國十大杰出青年法學(xué)家"（1995）稱號(hào)，享受國務(wù)院"政府特殊津貼"（1993），入選人事部首批"百千萬人才工程*人選"（1997）、教育部"跨世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃"（1999）。主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)橹袊谭ā⒅袊鴧^(qū)際刑法、國際刑法、比較刑法。長期參與我國刑法的立法工作和司法解釋的研擬工作。主持科研項(xiàng)目60余項(xiàng)，個(gè)人及論著獲得70余項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。出版?zhèn)人專著和文集25本，主編暨合著專業(yè)書籍300余種，發(fā)表論文700余篇。
