客舟聽雨 作者簡(jiǎn)介
趙啟光生于北京，獲中國(guó)社會(huì)科學(xué)院研究生院英美文學(xué)碩士學(xué)位，美國(guó)馬薩諸塞大學(xué)比較文學(xué)博士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)為美國(guó)卡爾頓學(xué)院終身教授，同時(shí)兼任同濟(jì)大學(xué)特聘教授、清華大學(xué)客座研究員等。
他開創(chuàng)了美國(guó)卡爾頓學(xué)院中國(guó)語言文學(xué)部，一直從事漢語言文學(xué)、比較文學(xué)，以及道家哲學(xué)等的教授工作。近三十年來，他一直致力于傳播中華文化，并成批地將美國(guó)學(xué)生帶回靠前交流學(xué)習(xí)，極大地促成了中美文化的雙向交流。
其中文著作有《古道新理——趙啟光話講老子》、《老子的智慧》、《世路心程》、《客舟聽雨》、《康拉德小說選》等；英文著作有《中西方龍的研究》（A Study of Dragon: East and West）、《無為無不為》（Do Nothing and Do Everything）等。
