Dr.Yu Xiang, Ph.D. in management, is Director of the Research Office of Economics of Climate Change of Research Institute for Eco-civilization, CASS, and an inductee of the Newton Advanced Fellowships of the British Academy. She is engaged in the study of the economics of climate change and sustainable development. She has obtained and completed dozens of programs commissioned by ministries and committees of the People's Republic of China and international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme. She has published many academic papers in Nature and other journals and serves as the lead author of several China's national reports on climate change, including the Fourth National Climate Change Assessment Report.
Dr.Zhuang Guiyang, Ph.D. in economics, is Deputy Director and Research Fellow of the Research Institute for Eco-civilization, CASS, and an expert receiving special government allowance from the State Council. He is engaged in the study of the economics of climate change and has been one of the academic leaders of this predominant discipline of the CASS. He has obtained and completed major programs at national and provincial levels, including the National Key Technologies R&D Program of the 12th Five-Year Plan and major projects approved by the National Social Science Fund of China. He was the winner of the Role Model of the Second China Ecological Civilization Award 2019. His book Chinese Path to Peak Carbon Emissions and Carbon Neutrality was included in the list of books recommended by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
